we didnt really do a lot for halloween after dad died either hard to trick or treat when you dont know the neighborhood
[ constantly moving around from place to place made every place look the same. not to mention you never knew which neighbor might recognize your family name. it was easier and safer to stay at home, peering out a window to watch normal, happy families walk unfamiliar streets and ignore the sting of loneliness and jealousy in her chest. ]
i guess we'll have to make up for lost time but arent you used to rejecting ideas with the student council it feels like thats half of the job
